Thanks for sharing. :D

I once played a cat and got all scratched up. I should have waited until it was made into guitar strings first.

Thanks for the complements. It is appreciated. Concert photography has been a hobby of mine for about 30 years now. Since you guys are all music fans I uploaded another slideshow of some of my favorite shots I have taken over the last few years. I think most of these people you will recognize.

I agree with Steve! These pictures look very professional. I didn't bring my camera to the show so I'm glad to see these. These pictures bring back a lot of nice memories. So many guitar greats were there in the show. What a great time. :D

Kurt,

Beautiful pictures. I was hoping that someone got some good pictures from Muriel's night because that was the one event that our photographer was not there.

It was great meeting you and getting to know you a bit over last week. In some ways it feels like that was a long time ago. (Maybe it's because I have been sleeping for most of the week plus everything else that has gone on this week.) On the other hand, it also seems like I could drive over to the Radisson and just walk right in to it all again.

It was a wonderful week that I enjoyed as much as you all.

Let's do it again next year.

I read where someone had seen Tommy but I figured it was at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society's annual gathering. It was the week before the LMG gathering.
The person who talked about seeing him said his rendition of Somewhere Over the Rainbow had brought them to tears. That's the same reaction he got out of my sister when she saw him in San Francisco earlier this year.

If I had know Tommy was going to be there, I may have risked getting fired for taking time off of work.
I guess I missed something. You folks actually got to see Tommy Emmanuel?
Yes we did. He was listed in the thread about All-Star guitar night.

I think several people finally understand why I and others revere him so much.

Great Pictures Kurt!!
