My problem is with tuning my PRS custom 24 electric guitar using a Korg tuner.

When I play an open E on the first string and then play it on the 2nd string on the 5th fret it matches.  Same for the B string matching on the 3rd string 4th fret and so on.  But when I try the first string with F on first string first fret the tuner says it is dead on.  But when I go to the 6th fret on the second string it is way off.   And so on.

Is this normal?  I thought they would match up.  Please let me know.

Thanks and Happy New Year

Penn,

You might want to signup over at the "Guitar Gathering" website (if you have not already done so) and post your question there.  There are several PRS owners there that I am sure will be able to help in your quest.

Good luck in solving your intonation problem...

Happy trails,

Tom
