90 years ago (yesterday) Blind Willie Johnson recorded Dark Was the Night Cold Was the Ground.   Had to be one of the first recorded blues songs.  And one of the songs on the disc on the Voyager Space Craft.

We consider the technology of 1980 as being antique.

Voyager's unused thrusters fired after 37 years of being dormant and 21 billion kilometers away.

Absolutely amazing.

 

Great idea by someone to include the song on board.
