I am not, nor have I ever been a country fan.  Not even as an experiment in college or on a bender when I was in my 20's, but my dad is and he loved M M M M Mel Tillis.

 

I remember watching him on Hee Haw many times.  He did have a great voice and it still amazes me that someone with as bad of a stutter as he had could sing so well.

 

RIP Mr. Tillis.

He was entertainer. I enjoyed watching him on the country shows on TV back in the 70s.
