Harmonized Shuffle Patterns

I am assuming that harmonized shuffle patterns are made up of double stops, triads and chords. When I see them they seem to be made by using the 1st 3rd 4th 5th 6th or flatted 7ths  notes in the 7th chord or major scale. For example in the key of E, E7 would be the 1 chord so harmonized patterns could be B G# or D B or scales notes C# and A Anyone have a good source that covers this material?
