"The mountain is high, the valley is low" Who would have thought a song that started out with those lyrics would be a hit. Well, that's besides the point, because the song really is a classic with a catchy intro. You can google it and find lessons and sheet music on the web and youtube. Perhaps you can use the chord triads in the intro in your own solo. Someone said there were two versions of this song. The version I am trying to learn starts with a slide 7/9 on the 5th string.

Thanks for this, triple-oh. Edgar Winter put on a concert here in Omaha a few years ago. It was a great show. I wish that I had gotten the name of his then guitarist. A great, great guitarist.
