I ran into this exercise. It seems like a good idea.

You may have to "Quote" and view the links that way.

rkl312: Below the post the button that says "Quote", click it. In your new post below, the link will be in the Quote Window.

It seems to be a problem with Permissions on YouTube, Windows 10 or something. When I do it, the link is there.

Grog I was able to get the video.  Thank you for the helpful post.  Love the teacher.  I have never used a rubber band but I'm sure its effective.  I used this post to help with my fretting hand.  Best of luck to you.  We are all trying to learn.  Its fun!

Grog is it possible that somehow perhaps the font color in your forum settings for hyperlinks in your forum profile got set to white or clear or similar coloring to the background? you could also change the font background to something other then white as well because the font setting for quotes would change it back to something visible and now it shows up in the quote because the other person's setting would change it back to default. I see it in the quote when my response is in edit mode but when I click post it disappears. It's definitely something goofy.

Hi drlaptop:

Unless the administrators made the changes, which I doubt then no that is not the answer. If you look at my recent post in Live Lessons, you will see a link and it appears normally.

I think it is a Permissions/Rights issue, brought to the forefront with YouTube and Microsoft latest dictates.

Okay, I found the problem. It is rights and permissions. You have to "Share" the video on YouTube, you can not copy and paste the link.
