Ok, I just posted most of the Student Showcase videos over to the GG2017 Facebook page.

https://www.facebook...876167029190250

As I mention somewhere over there (so I'll mention it again, here), all of the videos are "Unlisted" on my YouTube account (except for Linden's and Colin's, who said Public is OK). If you want me to change the status so that they are easier to find, post a comment to the video. If you want to share an unlisted video, just send the page link to whomever you want to share it with.

I am the fellow in the gray shirt and hat playing the tobacco burst Tele, for name photo identification.

And, since I hate the way FB streams stuff off the bottom of the page, to make the videos easier to find I've posted them to my WordPress site. The password to view the page is "GG2017".

Thanks for sharing, and all you do for the conference. Enjoyed our visit on the Yamaha silent guitar as well. Hopefully we meet up again next year.

I'm looking for one of the SG's in the area, now. GC doesn't have it (online only). I might get my GC friend to see if they can get one into their store for me.

Also, if you had just posted "Gr..." the rest of your name would have popped right up on my mental window. Couldn't believe I couldn't remember it.

I'll be posting some more of the workshop stuff probably next weekend. It takes a while to process then upload hour-long videos (about 20 minutes of my time to stitch things together, 6 hours processing the video file, then 2 or 3 hours to upload). These showcase files were a breeze...2 minutes to edit, 5 minutes to process, 2 or 3 minutes to upload. I've spent more time re-watching them than anything else.

I might have to sneak a Yamaha SG through the back door, as I went to Gruhn's after NAMM and bought another Tom Anderson Tele.

Greg - which Anderson tele did you buy?

It is a unique Tele with 3 single coils, rosewood neck and cap, mini-switch to split coils in the 2 and 4 positions, and a push-pull knob for a piezo-like acoustic bridge pickup. I haven't bonded with my strats, finding tele shapes better suited for me , especially with belly cuts and arm rest contours. The TA tele I played in Nashville is chambered, weight less than 7 lbs. This new tele, even with the exotic woods, is surprisingly light with basswood body though still 7+ lbs. My repaired back is grateful. Told my wife of a a new arrival, she just laughed. She's so cool!
