Hello all,

I realize this is late in getting this up but our little informal conference is turning into a full blown guitar-fest packed with events, workshops with special guests, evening activities and more.

The registration cost for the conference will be $185.  This cost will cover the expenses for the workshops, the special guests, tickets to NAMM, Muriel Anderson's All Star Guitar Night, and the Musicians Hall of Fame Private Tour.

GUITAR GATHERING 2015 CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

If you are bringing a spouse or guest, the additional cost for them will only be $40 to cover the ticket costs for the various events.  Just contact me at Service@MightyOakMusic.com if you are bringing a spouse so that I can make sure to get them the tickets.

If you have not already reserved your rooms at the hotel, then make your reservations now. There are only a few rooms left reserved for our group. You need to book your rooms by June 10th in order to get the conference rate of $140 a night.

Use this link to book your rooms... HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS BRENTWOOD

Regarding the costs, I make no apology for charging the $185. This is a fraction of the costs of most any other conference. Many of us have worked hard for months to jam pack this event with as much guitar learning and inspiration that we can squeeze into these few days.

It's going to be a great time and I look forward to meeting you and helping you become a better player. - Steve

There is no deadline to pay the conference registration fee but I've got to get the tickets for the various events soon and I want to make sure I have a ticket for you.  The main thing is the hotel reservations.  If you're coming then make sure to get your hotel reservations as soon as possible before June 10th.

I guess I'll pay, but because of CAAS (which is already paid for), I probably will not be partaking of NAMM, All Star Guitar Night or the Musicians Hall of fame. The Live lesson is even dependent on guest and the CAAS Schedule that night.

Ha!

Rick, just register for yourself and we'll figure out Anita next week.

I'll be sending out a survey next week and we'll figure all that out at that time.

It will be great to see you all again.

I'm curious. Will there be a lot of jamming? I was reading about the old gatherings and there were ensembles and open jam rooms.

Also, do you have an idea what time the classes/workshops may start?

Thanks!!

Jusca,

We won't be doing the ensembles this year as we did in the 2011 Gathering.  While that was a lot of fun, it did require a lot of time to put those songs together.  For this years smaller format, we didn't really have the extra days of rehearsal nor the space to be able to accommodate a large band setting.

But there's always times of jamming - whether I plan them or not, everyone always ends up playing in each others rooms and having fun.  I'll try to facilitate as much of that as possible.
