Hi Gang.

I asked Snugg's in a PM if she had heard of my issue and the LMG forum.

Thought I'd toss this to the LMG community for thoughts

I'm running a new machine now on Windows 8.1.

I can't clip'n'paste anything into a comment box, when I'm using IE11.

I can cllip'n'paste on any other forum except this one in IE11. Gibson forum, Bonamassa forum, etc. just not LMG.

If I use Firefox I can clip'n'paste no issues; text; url's, jpg's no issues at all with Firefox.

Yes there is the paste boxes just above the posting area that says paste from word, or paste or paste as plan text.. none of those work

So.

Anybody got any ideas why I can't clip'n'paste into this forum using the Windows 8.1 IE11 browser?

When you open the post ox, there is what looks like a light switch button in the formatting bar. Click on this and you revert to "limited formatting" (my interpretation).  Once in this mode cut 'n' paste seems to work.  Click on the light switch again to get full formatting.  Works for me.

Did you try setting compatibility mode for this site?  Based on what I'm hearing, that's solved the problem for some other people.

Yes this works Tom.

bit of a pain since its only this forum but at least it works and I don't have to remember switching broswers.

just have to remember to toggle it back off when you want to do more formatting since it looks like it toggles it into a Plain Text input box.
