How do you make a small fortune playing guitar? Start with a large fortune!

SUBMITTING: To complete the challenge, record an eligible song and reply to this thread with your your direct-linked or embedded track (Soundcloud's great) before the end of the month.

 

GUITAR REQUIREMENT: You must play at least one real guitar track heard in the mix.

 

GEAR: All content must be recorded with your home studio equipment. Sequence your own samples if you want, but no backing tracks, BIAB or loops you didn't create. The exception is drums... anything goes for your drums and percussion.

 

TIME: A recording made at any time before the entry deadline counts, but do not enter a recording in more than one challenge.

 

ONE ENTRY per person or collaboration. But, I doubt anybody will complain if you want to share another on-theme track too.

 

NEXT THEME: The person to choose next month's theme will be chosen randomly from those who complete this challenge. Entrants are numbered and the winner is selected by modulus of the first Tennessee Cash 3 drawing of the next month.

BTW, I tried to clarify the rules a little - anything goes for drums. Seriously, who wants a drummer in their house?

Hey, FloydFanatic, is that Pink Floyd version of Money a new cover for the song Money (That's What I Want) covered by the Beatles and Kingsmen (among others)? (I think it was originally written by Barry Gordon of Mowtown fame.) I'm not familiar enough with Pink Floyd's songs to know but I'm guessing it isn't.

 

Hey, this would include Camptown Races wouldn't it? ("I'll bet my money on the bob-tailed nag somebody bet on the bay.")

 

Need some other ideas?

Drums & Piano is BiaB (read the rules too late,     ) , comping & melody is mine.  I needed all the help I could get. I also take 10% less prize money for that if necessary. Should be still plenty

Well played Tony, and recording quality is better this time too.

 

The default for using BIAB though is that YOU have to provide the prize money

Nice job Prz.  Keep on sharing your stuff. Should the U.S. default on its loan obligations, many of us will likely be tight as well.  GAS will consist of a couple new guitar picks  and a fresh set of strings every third month. ( I promise, no more political rhetoric!)

If only we could print money out of thin air, eh?  Or even issue bonds and then buy the bonds with our own printed money.  But alas no one could ever pull that scheme off...
