i realised i have to listen to the last chord of a song and hum it to myself,so,i can find it on the keyboard but that is just the song i heard.what about someone is singing in from of me and i want to find the key the person is singing on.so,i can play it on the piano,how would i do that place.any techiniques for it

    Hey belishme,

                           If I know the song they're singing,I'll try to pick out some of the melody at the keyboard and relate it to key chords in the song-beginnings and ends of sections [a verse or chorus for example].If I don't know the song they're singing,I'll probably not try to play it.If it's a VERY simple melody,in an appropriate setting,I might try to find some chords that fit that melody,after first finding their key/tonal center by picking out some of the notes they're singing at the keyboard.Happy playing,   Will
