Hi. I really love the course, and can't wait to get started. I wanted to know if there is a version of the book available on PDF for download, like the lesson book in the main course. I really prefer working with the ebook, and it would be great help. Thanks in advance.

It has to do with problems encountered from copyright issues. I believe Steve will keep checking into this, and if it's ever possible, he will do it. For now though, they can't do it.

I would love the .pdf too. I had both of the Learn and Master Guitar books printed and sprial bound at Kinko's so that they lay flat. The Song Hits book is always fighting me on my music stand. :(

I took my copy to Staples, had them remove the spine and replace it with coil binding. It was quite cheap (maybe $5?) and worked very well, you might want to look into that.

With the spine removed, I gues it would be easier to fit on a scanner ; instant pdf

To revive this topic, does anyone know if a downloadable version of the most recent Song Hits course book is available? After very little use, my books binding is coming unglued leaving me with loose pagers. I'd like to.print it out and spiral bind it so it will lay flat on my music stand. Legacy should print/bind them that way inho..

I don't think so. What you might want to consider is to carefully loosen all the pages then get them spiral bound into a book. Staples or Office Max are two places that do it.

Thanks for a great suggestion. I took mine to FedEx Office, and they cut off the spine and spiral bound the pages for $6. In fairness to the publisher, perfect binding is cheaper and easier to package.

I have had most all my books spiral bound like Diane mentioned...  They lay flat on the stand better and over all easier to handle...

And not too expensive either....

Took my copy to Office Max and had the same thing done. $3.50 plus tax. It was well worth it.

yes I cut my spine off. the print shop "soaked" me for the $6 to do so, for 30 seconds worth of work.. at most it should have cost $2 if not free as it's such a easy job for them.

then I scanned it into a PDF book so I can carry it in my tablet.. now just to get time to be able to go through the songs
