OK,

I had a meeting with the hotel.

PARKING
Legacy has paid for parking. None of our people will be charged for parking - those staying at the hotel AND those not staying at the hotel. Everybody gets free parking for the entire time that they are staying. So, even if you are not staying at the hotel, or staying at the hotel before or after the conference, your parking is free. Now, when you call the hotel to book your room they send you to the corporate office and they may say that you have to pay $18/day. Don't worry about this. I have been assured numerous times by the hotel that you will not be charged. It's just the corporate office doesn't know the deal that we have worked out with the local hotel. So, no one is going to have to pay for parking.

BREAKFAST
There is complementary hot breakfast included in the conference room rate of $109. And I checked with the hotel, for those handful of you who are not staying at the hotel, you are still welcome to eat breakfast with us at no charge.

WIFI
There is free wifi.

- Steve

Thanks, Steve.

Free parking, breakfast and guitars...what more could we ask for?

ok, there's one more thing: Let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

List Updated.

We're up to 48 people! This is great.

There is still room for more. If you are interested in coming but haven't registered yet the early registration price has been extended until a week before the conference so it still is the $249 price.

Considering the quality of guests that have come together in the last few weeks I think this is going to be a great conference.

MORE INFO HERE

See you here in Nashville in a couple of weeks!

I saw my name added but FYI I paid for two so Kim Holland should be listed as well. We each did fill out a survey.

would come even if I rarely play any more, but it's just not feasible. Conference rate isn't the problem, airfare and other associated cost is (estimated total cost to attend for me would be in the order of $4000+).

I wish I could go to the Gathering but it is just way too far and way way too expensive.. Perhaps one day we will have a gathering in the UK! Anybody up for it?

Steve,

Tried to book a room at the Holiday Inn. They told me all the Legacy rooms were sold out and wouldn't give me the group rate.

Is there any way you can get them to add a few more rooms?

I hope you get the room Jan. I am guessing that, like most hotels, they released the unbooked rooms weeks before the conference in order to give themselves a chance to book them and not have them sit empty. I noticed the information page for the Gathering said it was best if you could book before May 15th.

Hopefully Steve can get you hooked up.

Yes, Tom...I saw the May 15 date but was hoping rooms would still be made available since the registration for the Conference was extended to today.

Hoping Steve can get them to squeeze out one more room. I can't imagine they are full since there's nothing major happening downtown that weekend (except of course the L&MG Gathering :) )

I did manage to get a room for Sunday night (which was not part of the deal apparently) for a non-refundable cost of $108.

That was before the schedule was posted and I realized there was nothing really happening on Sunday (No picnic this year) so I am kind of stuck with it, but I did get a good price.

Well I did it Steve,

Life worked out that I could afford it! I hope my ear can take it! (Still struggling)

Unfortunately Alex can't make it this year... bummer but I will be sure to tell him all about it!

Looking forward to being there and seeing you again.

Dave

Booked the hotel 9 months ago :-) in anticipation.

Jan,

I just got off the phone with Jillian Farley (our contact at the Holiday Inn). She changed our room block and added some more rooms so you should be able to book your rooms and get our room rates. You can just call the hotel and make the reservations. If you have any trouble you can call Jillian Farley directly at 615-244-8188.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you there.

List updated. 51 people

Welcome Kurt and Kim, Jan, David, and Gregg. It will be good to see you all again.

I'm looking forward to a great conference.

There's still room for more. (C'mon, you know you want to come. What are you going to be doing next week? Sitting in an office somewhere wishing you were here. We'll be here in Music City playing guitar, making music and getting to know some of the greatest guitarists on the planet.)

See you there!!!!
