I'm not sure if I can make it this year....
We are closing on our new house at the end of May!

If our move goes smoothly, I may be able to make it....
(it will be a much shorter trip too!!! :biggrin1: )

Yes,

Please make sure. We are paying for your parking for the dates of the conference. You should not have to pay for that. Make sure that you mention the event and they should not charge you. If you have any problems with that let me know and I'll handle it.

Hey, Steve. This is Dalton. I am proud to say that I am officially registered! Although, all of the payment information was under my dad's name, so I don't know if it might say you have a David McNally registered? I don't know exactly how the whole system works, but if you get a David McNally on the list, it's actually me.

Got the days off from work approved :biggrin1:
Signed up
Went to make reservations at the hotel and was told $18 per day parking :blushing: :w00t:

I was told I could check with the sales department on Monday.

$18 per day I could live with, but tell me it's free, then charge me for it ! Not good, I get RFP

Someone needs to look in into this and get it fixed.

Thadeus,

No, if you are with our conference you should not have to pay. We, Legacy, is paying a fee to have the parking for all of our people taken care of. A couple of the guys have had problems with this. I'll try to call the hotel on Monday to make sure they are straight with all of this.

No one of our people should have to pay the $18/day fee for parking on the days that our conference is going on. We have already paid that for the event.

My wife actually said the other night that she's sorry we won't be attending this year, even though all she took part in last year were the evening concert, the Muriel Anderson gala and the Sunday picnic. Even at just that, she had a blast. In fact, she scolded me for letting her miss the student showcase. Sure wish we could be there, especially for the Barenberg evening show, and the Vince Gill bluegrass extravaganza.

Hey Steve, you're saying the parking is covered under the cost of registering for the conference..not through staying at the hotel? So if you go to the conference, but don't stay at the hotel your parking's still covered?

Steve,

I am only just starting Session 4 but am so impressed at the material, your teaching ability, and these forums!

Unfortunately I'm learning about this Gathering too late to make plans for it. It sounds like an amazing time of learning and encouragement.

Going to start thinking about next year's way in advance and hopefully be available to go.

Will any of the sessions be recorded to watch online (not live of course)? That would cool.

I too would love to travel to Nashville for the event but my summer is already booked with 4 trips and one overlaps the week of the Gathering. I always thought it would be cool( unfortunately just one more thing to plan and arrange for by Steve and his helpers) to have a a DVD made of the event, not only for the participants, but also for all of us wannabethere's , available for purchase of course. It seems like this would be great for stimulating interest in future attendance for others that haven't gone and also might be an additional marketing for Steve's course. However this might also detract from the specialness of the event for all who are participating. We will all just have to experience it all vicariously through the attendees in the meantime.
