Hello all,

With much trepidation, and against my better judgement, I have been encouraged to release the highly secretive Blooper Reel from the Learn & Master Guitar Bonus Workshops.

We've played this at a couple of the Guitar Gatherings and for some reason unknown to me people seem to find this hilariously funny.

Here is the link...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rNeaPd8mDEU

I watched it again today.

It reminded me of the long days that we shot these Bonus Workshops. During the shooting of these bonus workshops, my lovely wife, Paulette was in the hospital with pancreatitis. Those days were filled with me writing scripts for the Bonus Workshops, being at Paulette's bedside at the hospital, sometimes spending the nights at the hospital and then coming back to the office for a few hours to film those workshops. It was a crazy time.

Enjoy!

- Steve

weren't you also ill with a flu at the time? Or was that a different time?

No, I was sick when I was filming the last three sessions of the main course. Sessions 18, 19, 20.

And by Session 20, I was really sick. After filming that I was sick for a week.

Good times...

What a hoot! I was laughing at you though, Steve. It reminded me of going into the studio to record a demo once. We had to record 4 songs on the demo so we could send them out to the bars and such that hire bands. All four songs we picked were songs we'd been doing live forever. We had done 3 of the 4 songs and were on the last one, a cover of Whitesnake's "Here I go again". I don't know why, but for whatever reason I could NOT get the lead part right to save my soul. I bet I did it 15 times and every single time I'd screw it up. Now I'd messed up live on it a couple of times, but nothing like this. It was crazy... I think I finally had to go have a drink and then come back and do it.

I don't make mistakes mistakes. I'm just making bloopers. :oopswarrior:

I think I'll just stick to playing bloopers. I seem to learn them much easier. :whiteviolin:

HI Steve, Thanks for sharing this.

It helps a 'wanna be' guitarist see that pro guitarists slip up sometimes too ;-)

To also read that you had troubles whilst filming is a credit to you on how you carried on and battled through.
Much respect.

And a lesson to us all.

Regards
Rich

Good times...

- Steve

Thanks for sharing, you grew in my eyes as human being and
got a scratch in the veneer of the G.O.D. status guitar player.

Wonderful, the REAL Steve comes out around 6minutes when
you show this evil smile and say 'I AM encouraging ...' I always
suspected you have some closeted sadistic tendencies.
Noone's that nice over 20 sessions as you seem on the DVDs.

now imagine, you say somewhere,
it's good there are not 21 sessions, we have to LEARN them.

Most wonderful stuff, I think you are setting yourself with
this course a little cult monument for a good while
to come.
