I think it was more like 5 seconds...
(15 seconds is for a rookie!!! )

Oh yeah, I forgot to factor the alcohol there. My reaction time was 1/3 as good as usual, hence the spilling in the first place and misjudging grin time by a factor of 3. My bad!

Thanks all

My new Martin made it back to Aberdeen OK and again I didn't get stung for any VAT or import duty.

Harry hasn't said much about it yet although I had told him that I had a guitar with me when I had rang him from Heathrow yesterday. :D

Its going to take me a few days to get back to normality and in the groove and once I get a chance I will download all the photos I took at the Gathering then post a link to them here.

Catch you all soon

I think your side of the room was more fun than our side

It may well be, but Barbara may not agree, as she was wearing my drink a bit later on in the evening! Her smiles disappeared for a whole 15 seconds that night!

I once played a cat and got all scratched up. I should have waited until it was made into guitar strings first.

Glad you made it safe, Adele! I'm in New Mexico, two hours away from my new home in Arizona! I will definitely be flying to Nashville next year! (I say that now)! :)

I hope you didn't mean it when you said I was a terrible person while we were drinking at the Wildhorse! Hahahahaha!!!!!

^^ I had a chance to play it briefly at the picnic. It's a beautiful guitar. The top almost looks like Adi, what with its very slightly darker color and a little wider grain than you usually see on Sitka. And it sounds and plays very nicely. Plus she's got it tricked out with ebony bridge pins. ;)

If I ever get a dread it may well be one of the 16 Series. They're nice guitars in their own right, and especially nice for the money.

Glad you're home safe.:D

But I doubt Barbara will let you drive next time, you'll end up on the wrong side of the road!! :P
You are young and life is long
And there is time to kill today
And then one day you'll find
Ten years have gone behind you
No one told you when to run
You've missed the starting gun

Well guys
I have finally made it back home to Aberdeen after starting my journey at 13:40 Nashville time and landing here in Aberdeen at 15:45 UK Time.

Need a couple of days to recover and catch up and will post more after giving 2 lessons and a long sleep.
Thanks to Barbara for doing all the driving, next time we share the interstate parts.
Hope everyone else got home (or in Jeff's case to where he was going) OK?
