I tell you it was like trying to stop a swarm of bees - all of our Guitar Gathering attendees hovering around the All-Star Guitar Night Auction table. I wanted to get a megaphone and shout "Please, step away from the auction table".

We were about an hour into the first set of the acoustic guitarists when I noticed it happening. Some of our people repeatedly getting up and going back to the auction table and then coming back sitting down and then 5 minutes later getting up and going back to the auction table. I thought to myself "Surely this can't be happening again."

But I recognized all of the signs. The kind of glassy look in their eyes. The sheepish grin on their face - like a kid compelled to do something they know they shouldn't. All the telltale signs that my Guitar Gathering attendees were going underneath the spell of the auction table.

Gerald's was one of at least three guitars that I know went off the auction table to our guys.

Congratulations to all of you! Enjoy them well. I tried to stop you all, but you just looked so happy and excited and all.

See you next year!!!

- Steve

I once played a cat and got all scratched up. I should have waited until it was made into guitar strings first.
Jell-O curtains are the best of both worlds. Just don't eat the curtains.

[b]WARNING ATTENDING A GUITAR GATHERING MAY BRING ON AN ATTACK OF GAS

Having had a perfectly magical, musical day, my wife and I proceeded to the ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT

At the All Star Guitar Night, they have a silent auction of guitars and other donated equipment.

Steve, saint that he is, tried his best to keep me away from the auction, but to no avail. I was in the throes of a GAS attack and am now the proud owner of a brand, spanking new Yamaha guitar (acoustic/electric)
And it was approved by my wife!!!!!

What a week!
