'Minuet in C' seems like a big step forward...

So I've just got to the end of practicing my notes on all strings, now it's time to learn 'Minuet in C', and I have to say, it looks like it'll be fairly challenging! I know my notes now, but can't memorize individual notes and I find it's taking me some time to figure out what the note actually is, so trying to play 'Minuet in C' is going to be hard!
Has anyone else found this really challenging?
Anyway, I think an evening of saying and playing the notes over and over will help, so that is what I'm going to do :)

Finding that I look forward to playing guitar more and more with each practice that I have. I've got a good couple of hours tonight in which my time will be dedicated to playing and learning a lot more, which is a great feeling to know.

Hope you're all doing well on your sessions. I'm only on session 4 but can already feel that I'm getting a lot better. Switching between electric and acoustic is fun. I find it's much easier on electric but the majority of the time I use my acoustic.

Anyway, enough rambling... I better get on with my practice!

Over and out.

John write the note names obove on the music might help
Think I may have to do that. It's proving quite hard.

Thanks.
