Hi, I'm Dalton.
I am 16 years old, and started playing guitar at age 13 with the Learn and Master Guitar course. I started the course in June 2009 and hit the ground running! I really dedicated my time to learning guitar and following the course, and I have amazed MYSELF as to how quickly I have gone from a complete beginner to a very skilled musician. Now I have completed the L&MG course as well as the blues guitar spotlight course, however I always strive to keep learning and growing. I have had the privilege of attending the Guitar Gathering in Nashville for the past two years; 2010 and 2011. The Gatherings have been a great experience for me to meet some of the best guitarists that are alive today and learn from them. Getting to personally know Steve Krenz is quite a special opportunity and he can always give me something new to work on to improve my playing.
I currently play in my church band every Sunday, and I am in a rock band called Social Impulse with my high school friends. I also sing, and am in my school's choral program. Our chorus has won 1st in state for the past 7 years, and I am very honored to be a part of such a great group. I have been having so much fun with music so far, and I really love it. I especially love playing blues, blues-rock, and classic rock. Music and playing guitar are definitely without a doubt my absolute passion. My goal in life is to pursue music and make it a career.
